Rebuilding Your Life After Heartbreak: Moving Forward
Rebuild Your Confidence, Rediscover Your Identity, and Create a Brighter Future
You spent years trying to make your relationship work. You learned to compromise, to pick your battles, and how to communicate more effectively. No, you were not the perfect partner, but you tried. You figured it was just a tough time, but you two would get through it together, even if you didn't know how. Sadly, the relationship ended. After the initial shock and heartbreak, you felt lost, overwhelmed, and unsure of who you would be without your partner. Now, what do you do?
Rebuilding after a relationship ends can feel overwhelming if you've been in a marriage or committed relationship for a time. You're afraid, nervous, and excited depending on the moment. The person you were when you met your partner is not who you are today. You are wiser, have different preferences and desires, and different goals. Simply put, your must-haves are different now. This time is an opportunity for discovery and growth.
THIS IS NOT A DIVORCE SUPPORT GROUP!
We are launching "Rebuilding and Moving Forward," a group to help you begin putting the pieces of your life back together. This in-person group in Plano, Texas is based on the principles of Bruce Fisher’s renowned book Rebuilding: When Your Relationship Ends. This isn't about fixing you because you aren't broken. It's about helping you map out your path forward, with some help.
Is this group right for you?
This group is designed for adults who are navigating the complex emotions of life after divorce or a long-term breakup. You might find this group helpful if:
You feel stuck: You want to move beyond your past pain, but you aren't sure what the next step looks like.
You feel disconnected: You miss companionship but before getting into another relationship you want to build a healthier connection with yourself first.
You don’t want community but…: If you’re going to join a group, you want to be around people who truly "get it."
What to expect in our sessions?
We believe that healing happens at your own pace. Our meetings are structured to provide comfort, exercises, tools, and discussion. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Intimate Setting: We keep the group small (3–8 people) to ensure we provide focused time in the desired areas.
Weekly Connection: Consistent, in-person meetings help build trust and routine.
Guided Processing: We use structured tools, exercises, and discussions and to help you move through the healing process constructively.
Please note: While therapeutic in nature, this is an educational group, not a clinical group therapy or crisis intervention.
We are currently gauging interest for our upcoming launch. If you think this group could help you or someone you care about, find clarity and connection, please let us know.
