Other Questions & Information

What is Individual Counseling?

Are you searching for an individual counseling description or curious about individual counseling? Individual counseling is a personalized therapy service where you work one-on-one with a licensed professional counselor near you, also called a mental health therapist or counselor, to address emotional, behavioral, or relational concerns. This is an opportunity to focus on you and your thoughts; a place to get the emotional support you may need. You’ve taken one step, our professional team is here to help you take the next step.

How do you incorporate faith into the counseling process?

We believe that faith is a powerful resource for healing and growth. Our approach is to integrate Christian principles and biblical truths in a way that fits your unique journey, always respecting your individual beliefs and comfort level. We invite prayer, scripture, and faith-based perspectives as part of the therapeutic process, but will never impose them.

How do you handle confidentiality?

Your privacy and trust are essential. We follow strict ethical guidelines and legal requirements to protect your information. Everything discussed in counseling stays confidential, except in rare cases where safety is a concern.

How do you handle confidentiality in couples counseling?

As part of our Couples Counseling intake process, we require our couples to sign a “No Secrets” policy. This policy states that we, the counselors, will not keep any secrets shared by one partner from the other. We will not reveal your secrets, instead we will work with you to share any secrets. This promotes open communication and trust.

Find the Right Mental Health Professional Near You

Whether you’re looking for a mental health specialist, a behavioral health counselor, or a psychotherapist, our practice offers compassionate, confidential therapy tailored entirely to you. Also, we understand the value of spiritual support, so if you’re interested in a Christian counselor, our team is ready to help.

Good Faith Estimate

The Good Faith Estimate shows the costs of services that are reasonably expected for the expected services to address your mental health care needs. The estimate is based on the information known to us when we did the estimate. The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur. If this happens, federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill.

If you are billed for more than the Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.

You may contact the contact listed above if billed charges are higher than the Good Faith Estimate. You can request an update to the bill to match the Good Faith Estimate, ask to negotiate the bill, or ask if there is financial assistance available.

You may also start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). If you choose to use the dispute resolution process, you must start the dispute process within 120 calendar days (about 4 months) of the date on the original bill.

There is a $25 fee to use the dispute process. If the agency reviewing your dispute agrees with you, you will have to pay the price on this Good Faith Estimate. If the agency disagrees with you and agrees with the health care provider or facility, you will have to pay the higher amount.

To learn more and get a form to start the process, go to:
