Self-care over the Holiday

Oh, a 3-day weekend is approaching and you’re excited. An extra day to engage in any activity you want. You’re going to plant yourself in front of a device or television and catch up or binge something. Then you remember, the agreements you made. You may not be able to binge the entire weekend but perhaps you can get away with one day. Holidays can be a source of excitement when filled with family, friends, and good food. However, holidays can be a source of stress if you’re hosting the events. What are your plans for this upcoming holiday weekend? Are you going to visit with family and friends or will you rest? Take 15-minutes and journal about what you will do this weekend to care for yourself in addition to whatever you have planned.
